An academic 30-hour intensive course aimed at training students and public servants to a correct and profound analysis and valorization of the territory’s intangible heritage.

From artisanal know-how to patron celebrations and millenary fairs, from the agri-food heritage to local languages (dialects), the Badge responds to the necessity of linking together all the intangible crafts and sectors to design, in a synergic and integrated way, their valorization. In other words, to train individuals with strong and multifaceted critical-analytical skills, able to locate, give value to and tie the territory’s diverse and intangible souls and identities, in order to elaborate wide-ranging scientific, social, cultural and media projects.

The extended and varied faculty was indeed the fundamental strongpoint of the entire academic process: professors, researchers, artisans, entrepreneurs. A “fluid” path that did not merely deliver notions, theories, ideas and concepts, but also and above all, specific examples of valorization of the territory’s intangible heritage. And most importantly, have the precious opportunity to know the human capital that builds, nurtures, preserves and develops the intangible world daily.

The Badge was conceived, designed and produced by our studio and promoted by Unibas in collaboration with CNR within the project of the Casa delle Tecnologie Emergenti of Matera financed by the Ministry for Business and Made in Italy.
